For sale with extremely well packaged plywood crated shipping we are delighted to present for sale this very large signed antique style bronze bust of Robert Burns the Scottish poet, this beautiful hand made solid bronze sculpture standing approximately 61 cm high and weighing in at a colossal Kg is signed by the artist Cornell to the rear, mounted on a marble type - granite base.

Condition superior for age no damages no repairs & excellent all over patina.

About the Artist 

David Cornell has worked with Henry Moore, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. He has several works in British and Dutch Royal collections and has sculpted more official portraits of the Royal Family than any other sculptor as well as sculpture of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Kate Moss, Leonardo Di Caprio, Lester Piggott and others. His work is mainly in bronze.
