The large figure with base plaque stamped Diuir
Don to shield. Judging by the age & patina this was probably produced for one of the Great Exhibitions most likely The Exposition Universelle of 1889 France & is a rendition of Aurora (Goddess of Dawn) or Selene (Goddess of Moon) by Auguste Moreau.
Condition Superior for age good toned patination no breaks or repairs or damage.
Measurements Height 89 cm width at widest point 41 cm, base 25 X 22 cm.
